Kewra Agarbatti
Description
Kewra agarbatti are incense sticks infused with the exotic fragrance of kewra/keora, derived from Pandanus flowers. These hand-rolled sticks have a golden-brown appearance from the kewra essence coating the slender bamboo cores.
When lit, Kewra agarbatti fills the air with the scent of fresh pandanus – floral, green and slightly fruity. The aroma is similar to that of Rajnigandha flowers yet more woody. There is a distinct rain-like tropical character in the fragrance.
Kewra scent has a cooling effect that is traditionally used in religious rituals and aromatherapy. It calms the nerves, uplifts moods and helps create a meditative ambience. The agarbatti variety provides this fragrance in a simple convenient form.
Slow-burning and smokeless, a few sticks can effectively fragrance households, offices and temples. Affordable across India, Kewra agarbatti brings the essence of monsoon blooms wherever needed. A refreshing, grassy floral that evokes nostalgia and tranquil atmospheres.
