Tambola Set
Description
A tambola set refers to the items needed to play the popular Indian game of tambola, similar to bingo. A standard set consists of various numbered tambola tickets as well as tambola chips and a bag for drawing number chits. The tickets come printed with three horizontal and nine vertical rows along with free space in the center, randomly filled from numbers 1 to 90. Instead of letters B-I-N-G-O, the columns are labelled with rhythmic Indian syllables like gappa, sapera, nana. Chips are used to cover called numbers on tickets. Sturdy placards display each number called by the host. To play, participants mark matching squares as numbers are drawn from bag until a winner completes the specified tambola pattern outlined on their ticket. Affordable tambola game sets allow groups large and small to play this entertaining game of chance and numbers. The shouted calls of winning sequences like “pani puri” echoing victoriously create shared moments of suspense and social fun without electricity or batteries needed.
